Optica’s Quantum 2.0 to uncover quantum technologies and latest applications

DENVER – The Optica Quantum 2.0 Conference and Exhibition will be held 18-22 June at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. The hybrid Congress will feature three keynote sessions and a Nobel Symposium.

“This year’s conference will bring together engineers, scientists, researchers, and invited speakers across the quantum realm, said Hugues de Riedmatten, ICFO Institut de Ciencies Fotoniques, Spain, Program Chair. “We have a wealth of esteem speakers who will address the challenges facing the quantum information science and technology community today.”

The technical program is comprised of plenary sessions, technical sessions featuring invited and contributed oral talks, and poster sessions focused on technological solutions to quantum challenges and applications.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to interact, discover common ground and potentially build collaborations leading to new concepts or development opportunities,” said Sonika Johri, United States, Program Chair. We are excited to hear what our three keynote speakers will bring at the Quantum 2.0 Congress."

Plenary speakers include Rainer Blatt, Universität Innsbruck and Gerhard Rempe, Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, and Michelle Simmons, Silicon Quantum Computing. The keynote sessions are scheduled 19-22 June at 08:00-9:00, (UTC-06:00).

Rainer Blatt, Universität Innsbruck, will review the basic functional principles of quantum computing with trapped ions and highlight ion-trap-based quantum computers.

Gerhard Rempe, director of the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics and an honorary professor at the Technical University of Munich, will highlight entangled photons with the power to generate large photonic graph, including Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger and cluster states.

Michelle Simmons, CEO and founder of Silicon Quantum Computing and Director of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology will discuss engineering device behavior in atomic qubits in silicon. She will also discuss her latest results in analog quantum simulation.

Media registration is free with credentials. Digital assets are available as requested. Registrants can attend technical sessions from a combined five co-located meetings—which exemplifies the topical synergies between biological imaging and biomedical sensing. A combined exhibition and increased special events provide enhanced opportunities to learn from and network with a significantly larger community of scientists and industry professionals.
