The leading professional society for scientists, engineers, students and entrepreneurs in the science of light will participate in the second march to advocate for science education and policy
Event details:
- 08:00 a.m. ET- 5:00: OSA/APS member open house at the Jarus Quinn Building, 2010 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036, USA
- 09:00 a.m. ET- 1200 p.m. ET: March for Science teach-in program on the National Mall (advanced registration)
- 11:00 a.m. ET- 12:00 p.m. ET: OSA/APS co-sponsored teach-in on the Washington DC National Mall featuring Professor James Kakalios, University of Minnesota
- 12:00 p.m. ET- 2:30 p.m. ET: OSA/APS co-sponsored demonstration table on the National Mall.
- 2:30 p.m. ET- The Official March for Science on the Washington DC National Mall.
OSA is joining our members and other supporters to exemplify the importance of partnerships formed between scientists and the broader community around the world. The activities, collectively known as the March for Science, provide a unique opportunity to show the value of scientific advancement.
