About the Speaker
Lucio earned his PhD from the Quantum Engineering CDT at the University of Bristol in 2020, having spent the entire three years of his doctoral research at the University of Cambridge, where he focussed on scanning quantum magnetometry using nitrogen-vacancy centres. He then joined the Niels Bohr Institute as a Marie Curie fellow, investigating parametric effects in mechanical resonators and spin-mechanics coupling. In 2024, he joined Sparrow Quantum, where he currently serves as Practice Lead for Future Sources, developing entangled photon sources.
