Joshua Slater, PhD
CTO, Q*Bird
Joshua Slater is the CTO of Q*Bird b.v., which is commercialising quantum safe communications. He has worked over 20 years in the quantum technology space at a variety of start-ups, SMEs, and RTOs spanning everything from QKD, quantum internet and quantum computing. His expertise include quantum cryptography, networking technologies, and designing industry-grade technology from research organizations. He earned a PhD in 2013 in QKD, quantum memories and quantum repeaters, and led the first demonstrations of some of the key technologies needed for quantum networking.
