About the Speaker
Dan is an experimental quantum physicist with a decade’s research experience in quantum photonics, integrated optics, quantum information and quantum computing. During his PhD, Dan led the demonstration of the world’s first quantum teleportation of photonic qubits between independent photonic integrated circuits (PICs). He is an expert in the characterization of quantum optical circuits, having demonstrated multipartite entangled states and high-dimensional entangled states of light in silicon photonics. Transitioning to industry, Dan has spent five years driving innovation in commercial quantum computing with photons.
