About the Speaker
Dr Charlotte Ovenden obtained her PhD from The University of Sheffield, where her research focus was on the scalable growth of semiconductor quantum dots for integration into photonic devices. On completion, she joined the Quantum Communications Hub as a PDRA, and since 2021 has worked at Aegiq. She now leads delivery of the scalable manufacture of Aegiq’s telecom wavelength deterministic photon sources.
