About the Speaker
Deja Scott is a Project Manager at Edmund Optics. She earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Loyola University Chicago, where her research in electrical brain stimulation sparked a lasting interest in solving complex engineering problems. This experience also deepened her understanding of optics and led her to begin her career at Edmund Optics in Tucson, Arizona, as an Applications Engineer before transitioning into project management. She also serves as a Laser Safety Officer, supporting facility-wide safety compliance. Deja is passionate about continuous learning, collaborating with others to turn ideas into results, and exploring new places.
