About the Speaker
For the past 33 years, Dr Morley has served in numerous technical research and leadership positions across AFRL, focusing on all aspects of high energy laser weapons system development. His responsibilities have included coordinating both theoretical and experimental efforts in lasers sources, optical tracking, power, thermal management, system integration and material effects. Currently, as the DAF Senior Scientist for High Power Photonics, he provides technical counsel and advice to USAF and USSF senior leadership and AFRL management on all aspects of the science and application of high-power photonic-based technologies.
