Dr. Mehdi Asghari is the Founder and CEO of SiLC Technologies, bringing over 30 years of experience in silicon photonics innovation and commercialization. A pioneer in integrated photonics, he leads the development of advanced coherent vision and FMCW LiDAR technologies for applications in autonomous navigation, long-range sensing, perimeter security, and counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS). Under his leadership, SiLC has developed chip-scale sensing solutions designed to deliver high-resolution imaging and precise velocity detection, addressing critical challenges in aerospace, defense, and intelligent autonomous systems.
