About the Speaker
Dr. Matteo Negro is Chief Executive Officer of ESA NanoTech, bringing extensive experience in laser technologies, photonics, nanomaterials, and advanced technology commercialization. His work focuses on bridging scientific research and industrial applications, particularly in the development and scalable production of graphene-based materials with potential applications in lightweight aerospace structures, advanced electronics, and high-performance systems.
Previously, Matteo served as CEO and CTO of Cambridge Raman Imaging, leading the development of innovative laser-based imaging technologies. He also held the position of Head of R&D at Bios and conducted research at the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnologies of the Italian National Research Council (CNR).
Matteo holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Politecnico di Milano, where he specialized in ultrafast laser sources and spectroscopy. He also serves on the Advisory Board for Engineering Physics at Politecnico di Milano.
