About the Speaker
Bruno Desruelle completed his PhD under the supervision of Alain Aspect, Nobel Prize laureate in Physics 2022, focusing on innovative experimental research in quantum physics. He began his professional journey at Corning Inc., where he specialized in optical telecommunications and doped-fiber amplifiers. He later joined Thales Optronique as a development manager, overseeing the creation of cutting-edge optronic systems. At the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA), he served as a program manager in photonics, contributing to several strategic defense projects. In 2011, he founded Muquans,a pioneer startup company in the field of quantum technologies and led the development of the company from its creation in 2011. After the acquisition of Muquans by Exail in 2021, he has been managing the activities of the Exail quantum systems division. Since 2023, he is in charge of the photonics activities of the Exail group.
