About the Speaker
Nick Psaila is Principal Engineer and Technology Development Manager at Intel Foundry, leading work on next generation photonic technologies for use in CPO applications. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics from Imperial College London, UK an MSc degree in Photonics and Optoelectronic Devices from St Andrews University and a Ph.D in Physics from Heriot Watt University. He was Co-founder and CEO at Optoscribe, and then CTO at Optoscribe until 2022 with the Company’s acquisition by Intel. He has authored or co-authored more than 60 Journal and Conference papers, holds 30 patents and has more than 20 patents pending in the field of photonic devices and photonic manufacturing.
