About the Speaker
Dr Vikas Remesh is a Senior Scientist at Sparrow Quantum, where he leads the development of commercially available single-photon sources based on epitaxial quantum dots. He has over a decade of experience in experimental quantum nanophotonics, and holds a PhD in Photonics from ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences, Spain. Before joining Sparrow Quantum, he led the quantum dot research subgroup at University of Innsbruck, Austria, driving the development of several advanced optical excitation schemes to trigger high-quality single- and entangled-photon states from quantum dots.
