About the Speaker
Dr Claire Le Gall is VP of Technology at Nu Quantum, which recently raised a $60 million Series A, the largest capital investment for a quantum networking company worldwide. She leads the company’s technology development to enable high-rate, high-fidelity entanglement between quantum processors to scale quantum computers via distributed architectures. Claire is an accomplished physicist with expertise in quantum optics, networks and spin-photon interfaces, with a decade of research at the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, where she was awarded a Dorothy Hodgkin Royal Society Fellowship. Prior to Nu Quantum, she worked at Microsoft Research in the ‘Optics for the Cloud’ hardware group.
