About the Speaker
After having worked at CERN on the LHCb Scintillating Fibre Tracker, Dr. Cesare Alfieri obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from ETH Zurich with a thesis on ultrafast semiconductor disk lasers, being author or co-author of more than 60 scientific publications.
He then worked as Sales Responsible for Optics and Photonics markets for key industrial players in the optical fibre domain.
At FEMTOPRINT SA, Dr Alfieri supervised the engineers of the Prototyping Division and covers now the roles of Technical Sales Manager and Responsible for the technical and business development of the quantum activities.
