About the Speaker
Wil van de Wiel is a technology leader with more than 30 years of international leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, semiconductors, security systems, and renewable energy. He began his career at Philips in the Netherlands, where he spent around 15 years in engineering- and operations senior leadership roles before joining Bosch Security Systems in executive management positions.
He later held executive roles in the United States, including President and CEO of Taco Comfort Solutions, CEO of Unbound Renewable Energy, and COO of semiconductor company Pallidus. During this period, he also served 7 years on the advisory board of Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, providing expertise for turnarounds and accelerated growth scenarios. In June 2025, he was appointed CEO of XIVER, Europe's only independent MEMS foundry, returning to the Eindhoven region to lead the company's next phase of growth.
Throughout his career, Wil has built a strong track record for driving innovation, operational excellence, and business transformation in technology-focused organizations.
