Shai Lavy is Managing Director of Prolog Optics Ltd., an Israel-based company founded in 1996 that provides electro-optics consulting and representation services for leading international manufacturers. Under his leadership, Prolog Optics serves as the exclusive Israeli representative for suppliers of optical components and sub-assemblies, cameras and machine vision systems, measurement and testing equipment, motion control and staging systems, and spectroscopy solutions. The company supports customers across a wide range of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, defense, medical devices, automotive, and security, as well as research and development organizations. Lavy's role centers on connecting Israeli technology companies and research institutions with advanced optical and photonic components from global manufacturers, helping customers translate technical requirements into cost-effective, project-ready solutions delivered on schedule.
