About the Speaker
Dr. Nicolas Niedhart is CEO and Member of the Board of Leister Group, a Swiss technology company headquartered in Switzerland. Founded in 1949, the Group employs around 900 people across three continents. With an export share of 98%, its products are distributed in more than 100 countries. Nicolas also serves on the Board of Axetris AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leister Group.
Axetris was established in 1998 as the Microtechnology Division of Leister Group and has since evolved into a leading manufacturer of refractive and diffractive optical elements, employing around 200 people. Its broad product portfolio includes micro-optics, wafer fabrication services, laser gas detection solutions, infrared sources, and mass flow devices.
Nicolas began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, followed by senior leadership roles in several industrial companies. He studied business administration in Mannheim and Leipzig and holds a doctoral degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
