About the Speaker

CEO of Heidelberg Instruments Mikrotechnik, a world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision laser lithography systems, maskless aligners, and nanofabrication tools.

Konrad Roessler, a physicist by training, joined Heidelberg Instruments soon after graduating from University of Heidelberg in 1993. Initially working as an R&D engineer, he specialized in photomask writers, spent many years in East Asia supporting customers and setting up local service offices in Taiwan and Japan. Back to the head office, he was working as CTO in the management team and in 2019 appointed CEO of the growing company.
