Jimena García-Romeu Núñez is a seasoned executive with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), complemented by a specialization in management acquired through various postgraduate programs. These include the W50 program at UCLA, an Executive MBA at EOI, among others. With a diverse professional background spanning business development, marketing, and strategy, Jimena has held significant positions at multinational corporations such as Freenow, Telefonica, Huawei, Microsoft, and Vodafone. Since assuming the role of CEO at Alcyon Photonics in 2019, Jimena has played a pivotal role in driving the company's commercialization and scaling efforts. Leveraging her expertise, she adeptly navigates complex industry landscapes and seizes emerging opportunities.
