We will also touch on the role of marketing principles in shaping and amplifying scientific messaging, helping to increase visibility, engagement, and impact. Attendees will gain insight into best practices for presenting research, tailoring messages for different audiences, and leveraging communication as a tool to advance their careers and broaden the reach of their work.

About the Speaker

Cory Boone is the Technical Content Strategist at Zygo, where he creates technical videos, articles, and other marketing materials to educate others about metrology and optics. He acts as the technical voice of the marketing department, combining a background as an optical engineer with nine years of marketing experience.

Cory is also passionate about optics educational outreach, spreading awareness of this critically important field through in-person educational events, short educational videos, and the Larry Laser kids' book series. He holds a B.S. in Optical Sciences and Engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of North Dakota.
