About the Speaker
Vijay Vusirikala is currently a Distinguished Lead, AI Systems and Networks at Arista, where he focuses on networking solutions for hyperscalers and large AI clusters. Previously, Vijay was Vice President of Global Network Engineering at an AI infrastructure stealth startup covering network architecture/engineering and operations.
Previously, Vijay spent 14+ years at Google in senior technical and org leadership roles leading Google’s network technology teams. He was responsible for developing the network stack for one the largest global backbone networks. Prior to Google, Vijay held senior marketing, business development and architecture roles at Infinera, Motorola and Sycamore Networks covering core, metro and access products.
Vijay published extensively and holds 17+ patents. He has a PhD in EE from the University of Maryland, College Park and a BSEE from IIT, Madras.
