About the Speaker
Rick is a semiconductor technology and development leader with over 25 years of experience advancing CMOS platforms from early research through production readiness. He has led cross-functional engineering organizations for more than 15 years, driving process integration, device engineering, technology enablement, and platform delivery across advanced device architectures.
His background includes high-k/metal gate integration, planar, FinFET, and FDSOI technologies, with a focus on translating device innovation into scalable, production-ready platforms. He has established integration strategies, guided yield learning, and aligned globally distributed teams to execute technology ramps.
More recently, he has worked on silicon photonics technology development, applying CMOS integration approaches to emerging semiconductor platforms.
