About the Speaker
Marc is a deep-tech entrepreneur, independent advisor and industry executive with 15 years of experience across photonics, semiconductor automation and advanced manufacturing.
From 2019 to 2025, Marc was CEO and Co-Founder of INNOCISE, a spin-out of the INM – Leibniz Institute for New Materials. He built the company into an internationally recognized technology platform for precision component handling in photonics assembly and semiconductor automation, raised double-digit million Euros in private and public funding, and achieved a 100% strategic exit to a global automation leader with >3,000 employees.
He holds a dual PhD summa cum laude from Saarland University and the Université de Lorraine, is Chairman of VDMA Microtechnologies, Board Member of VDMA Electronics, Solar & Battery, and a member of Optica ecosystem. He is based in Cork, Ireland.
