About the Speaker
Professor Yosef Ben Ezra, PhD is the Chief Technology Officer of NewPhotonics. He previously served as Chief Scientist at Optiway, Cellvine, Cello Wireless, and Cello Photonics, as CTO at OSR Enterprises, and as the Dean of the Engineering Faculty at Holon Institute of Technology.
Prof. Ben Ezra currently leads the NewPhotonics engineering efforts on Optical DSP for pluggable and co-package transceivers and development of non-invasive methods for calibrating and monitoring the integrated photonic systems and programmable photonic devices. His previous work includes technology development in the areas of radio over fiber, optical communication, integrated photonics, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, machine learning and machine vision
Prof. Ben Ezra has co-authored over one hundred papers in international journals and conferences in semiconductor physics, nonlinear effects, and optical communication. He is the author of 15 scientific book chapters and owner of 70 patents.
