Dr. Simon Aigner
Head of Technology Development
Heidelberg Instruments Mikrotechnik is a world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision laser lithography systems, maskless aligners, and nanofabrication tools.
Dr. Simon Aigner, a physicist by training, joined Heidelberg Instruments in 2010, where he established the Optical Design and Engineering group.
He transitioned to Systems Engineering in 2021, leading the development of a next-generation high-precision mask writer.
In 2024, he was appointed Head of Technology Development and is now driving the strategic advancement of technologies and system architectures for Heidelberg Instruments’ laser lithography systems.
