About the Speaker
Omer Kocaoglu, Ph.D., studied Physics and Biomedical Engineering focusing on optics. He led technology development efforts for various successful optical imaging and sensing methods for medical, automotive, metrology and defense applications, both in academic and industrial environments. These include four-dimensional frequency modulated continuous wave lidar (4D- FMCW), optical coherence tomography (OCT), adaptive optics (AO), camera vision, coherent detection, optical metrology, range finding and 3D optical tracking systems. His engineering innovations are documented by 100+ high-profile publications and patents with 2000+ citations.
