About the Speaker
Michał Zięba is the CTO and a member of the management board at Scanway S.A., where he oversees the development of advanced optical systems and Earth observation technologies. With a Master’s degree in Control Engineering and Robotics from Wroclaw University of Technology, he brings a strong technical background and years of experience in R&D and project management.
At Scanway, Michał is deeply involved in day-to-day operations, managing the design and testing of optical instruments, coordinating engineering teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of cutting-edge space projects. His hands-on approach ensures the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions.
Throughout his career, Michał has contributed to notable space projects such as SCANSAT, Eagle Eye, and the PIAST constellation, working closely with leading organizations in Poland and abroad. His work focuses on bridging innovative optical solutions with practical applications in space exploration.
As a published author, Michał has co-authored several papers in the fields of satellite technology and hyperspectral imaging, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field.
