About the Speaker
Michael Gregory's career in optics spans over ten years, during which he has amassed extensive experience working at Optimax in various capacities.
He started as an intern and later became an engineer in the Laser Grade Optics department, where he specialized in freeform manufacturing, metrology support, and optical design.
His interest in optical design grew deeper over time, and he currently holds the position of lead optical designer at Optimax's newly developed Optical Systems group.
Michael earned his bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 2013.
