About the Speaker
Christopher Roll is currently a technical staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the Optical Engineering group. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2012. He joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory that same year in the Structural and Thermal Fluids Engineering group. In 2021, he also completed a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT as part of the Space Telecommunications, Astronomy and Radiation (STAR) Laboratory. Over the past decade, he has worked on a number of prototype opto-mechanical systems throughout the concept development, design, analysis, assembly and testing program phases.
