About the Speaker
Graduated in Physics 2014 from the University of Padua, Francesco pursued a PhD at the Quantum Engineering and Technology Labs at the University of Bristol (2018) with a thesis on quantum random number generators in integrated photonics. In 2018 Francesco joined KETS Quantum Security, Bristol based start-up that develops chip-based quantum cryptography solutions. In 2022 Francesco was awarded the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship through which he currently leads the development of photonic integrated circuits and novel quantum cryptography systems for KETS.
