About the Speaker
Andrew is senior manager of BT’s Centre of Excellence in optical and quantum research. He has designed a wide range of optical networks. He was Chair for OFC 2015 and 2017 and Technical Program Chair of ECOC 2023. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Optical Communications and Networking, Visiting Professor at Essex University, Fellow of the IEEE and one of the first cohort of BT Fellows, appointed in 2024.
