Come join Platform Lead of Quantum Computing & Cybersecurity, Lac Nguyen, as we dive into Entropy Quantum Computing (EQC) and more. In this tutorial, we introduce Entropy Quantum Computing (EQC)—a novel optimization framework that stabilizes quantum reservoirs into ground states to efficiently solve complex problems. We showcase an experimental implementation using a hybrid photonic-electronic platform, where photon qudits are encoded in the time-frequency domain and coupled with electronic interconnects to realize arbitrary Hamiltonian.

3D Image Acquisition and Display: Technology, Perception and Applications (3D)

3D provides a forum for science, technology, applications of 3D image collection, information processing, visualization and display technologies. This highly interdisciplinary meeting is related to science, technology and applications that covers research areas related to the acquisition, processing, display and applications of (non-holographic) 3D information as well as the perception, human factors and visual comfort of 3D information displays. Topic includes the research related to scientific understanding of 3D information display and perception, technological innovation on 3D image acquisition or display methods and task-specific design and applications of 3D acquisition or display technology is of particular interest. Application areas of interest include, but are not limited to, virtual reality, augmented reality, biomedicine, microscopy, endoscopy, healthcare, 3D sensing, 3D information processing, autonomous vehicle, wearable displays and entertainment.
Computational Optical Sensing and Imaging (COSI)

Computational sensing and imaging are processes that tightly combine optics, sensing and processing to acquire task relevant information. They use the strong coupling with computation to provide an operational capability that is impossible to realize using conventional means, that addresses a dimensionality mismatch or that reduces the cost of making measurements compared with conventional means.
Digital Holography and Three-Dimensional Imaging (DH)

DH provides a forum for science, technology, applications of digital holographic, three-dimensional imaging and display methods. Topic areas include interferometry, quantitative phase imaging, transport of intensity methods, 3D imaging and display systems including VR/AR, computer generated holograms, metasurface holograms, digital holography with various light sources including coherent to incoherent and X-ray to terahertz waves, polarization and dynamic holography, compressive holography, specific image and signal processing and digital holographic methods for microscopy, tomography, optical processing, lithography, metrology, scattering media inspection, remote sensing, non-linear optical systems, bio- and nano-photonics.
Imaging Systems and Applications (IS)

IS covers the latest advances in the research, design and engineering of imaging devices and systems used in medical, consumer, industrial and military applications. The topical meeting highlights the applications of imaging systems in all areas, including microscopy, remote sensing, photography, medical devices, consumer products, airborne and astronomical observations and cinematography. It brings together experts from many different scientific and engineering disciplines who contribute to the design and integration of optics, sensors, digital processing and displays in imaging systems.

Optica Nonlinear Optics

Held every three years, Optica OIC — Optical Interference Coatings Conference, has served for the past four decades as the premier conference on the topic of optical interference coatings. Optica OIC — Optical Interference Coatings Conference spans fundamental research on coating design theory, materials, deposition methods, characterization technologies and applications ranging across electronic displays, optical communication, high-power and ultra-fast lasers, sensing, solar cells, low-emissivity coatings, optical instruments, space and more. The conference consists of five days of oral and poster presentations and an active exhibition that creates ongoing discussion and networking opportunities. None of the sessions are held in parallel, allowing attendees to listen to short presentations on each paper and then choose to visit the posters of greatest interest. Each session starts with invited talks by world-leading experts.
2025 Siegman International School on Lasers

The Siegman International School is a week-long program that exposes students to in-depth learning of lasers and their applications from internationally recognized academic and industry leaders in the field. The Siegman International School on Lasers covers all aspects of lasers and photonics. Each summer up to 100 graduate students are invited to participate in a week-long program to learn from pioneering laser researchers and experts from leading laser companies, highly-regarded professors and fellow students. Attendees are asked to present their own research, which provides valuable experience in building exposure for their work all while building lifelong colleagues and friends. Anthony Siegman, after whom the school is named, was a past Optica president and member for 50 years. He prioritized not only technological advancements but also creating opportunities for learning and growth among students and future generations. IPG Photonics partnered with the Optica Foundation and donors around the world to endow this program.
