A laser for all your processing needs: Luxinar and Iradion showcase a combined product portfolio at Laser Korea 2025

July 2-4, leading laser manufacturer Luxinar is co-exhibiting with its new partner Iradion Laser for the first time at Laser Korea. Both companies will showcase how their combined application expertise and product portfolio are engineered for longevity on stand 1F28 at the KINTEX Exhibition Center I.

Luxinar and Iradion provide a short pulse and ultrashort pulse laser range to address a wide range of processing needs as well as patented CERAMICORE® and advanced sealed metal tube CO2 lasers from 25-1000W including pulsed and CW systems.

CO2 lasers – long-term reliability

Luxinar will showcase the SR 25 AOM and SR 10e from its sealed CO2 laser source range, incorporating a durable RF-excited slab laser design with the latest leading-edge technologies. Using a CO2 laser with an integrated acousto-optic modulator (AOM) results in very short rise and fall times (typically ≤ 0.2µs). This reduces heating around the processing area which in turn lessens the heat-affected zone (HAZ). Luxinar’s SR AOM series is ideal for a variety of high-precision processes such as microfilm cutting in the flat panel display market and scribing, engraving, marking and surface patterning applications where minimising HAZ is critical.  The SR 10e, with an average output power of up to 115W and a peak output power of 330W, offers fast processing capabilities and high-quality results ideal for the electronics industry, where high peak power and low HAZ are required. Processing polarising film, removing excess bonding agent, and laser texturing, require perfect edge quality and minimum disruption of the surrounding area.

Iradion will display the latest Eternity and Infinity models in its patented CERAMICORE® range, which provides guaranteed maximum power, superior beam quality, and long-term reliability. The water-cooled Eternity CO2 laser source from Iradion delivers unparalleled power, exceptional stability, and maximum efficiency in the most compact 30-60W design available. This guarantees peak performance with an unmatched size-to-power ratio. The fan-cooled Infinity is scalable, modular, and fits easily into new or existing systems. Because the footprint, beam specifications and laser operation are nearly identical, integrators, OEM equipment builders and users experience lower operating and maintenance costs.

Ultrashort and short pulse lasers – increased power

Iradion’s latest FEMTOCORE® and NANOCORE® lasers are on display at Laser Korea. A higher-power version of the Aionis femtosecond series focuses on scaling up the average power and pulse energy and shortening the pulse duration (< 400fs). The Aionis offers enhanced precision for the semiconductor and glass (brittle material) industries and is used for through glass via (TGV) processing, among others. Iradion has expanded its Vivio DPSS nanosecond laser series with an increased power and pulse energy UV wavelength (355nm) model. Using unique PULSECORE technology, the Vivio has the most precise and fastest pulse energy control at the best pulse-to-pulse stability and is ideal for wafer marking in the semiconductor industry and PCB processing and IC packaging in the electronics industry.

Patrick Kim, Luxinar’s Regional General Manager (Korea), explained, " With Luxinar and Iradion united we offer our customers stronger laser support wherever and whenever they need it. Our technical support and service centres located on three continents respond quickly to customers in their time zones, providing a laser for their processing needs and a technology suitable for every material processing application.”
