About the Speaker
Dr. Ritwick Das is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India and is the head of the Lasers and Nonlinear Photonics group. He did M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from IIT Delhi in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He was a postdoctoral researcher at ICFO-The Institute of Photonic Sciences, Barcelona, Spain during 2008-2010. He joined the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, India as an Assistant Professor in 2010, where he worked till 2023 as Reader-F and Associate Professor. His research interest include non-linear optics, topological photonics and plasmonics. Presently, he is a senior member of Optica.
