About

The Biophotonics Congress is an annual meeting with two alternating scopes. In even years, the congress focuses on biomedical optics; in odd years, the focus shifts to optics in the life sciences.

About Biomedical Optics

Biomedical Optics focuses on technological solutions to medical challenges and medical applications, complementing Biophotonics Congress: Optics in the Life Sciences.

The meeting covers diverse, cutting-edge research and innovative new tools and techniques. It brings together an international group of leading engineers, optical and medical scientists, physicians and junior researchers and graduate students — all engaged in optical methods to advance discovery and application of medical science to clinical practice.
