About the Speaker
Dr. Michael Förtsch is the founder and CEO of Q.ANT, a deep-tech company developing photonic processors for next-generation computing. He studied mathematics and physics and obtained his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, where he was honoured with the Otto Hahn Medal for his achievements in the field of quantum information processing. A research stay at the National Institute for Standards and Technology in Boulder, Canada, was followed by positions as strategy consultant and personal advisor to the CTO at the TRUMPF Group in Stuttgart. From this position, he founded the company Q.ANT in 2018.
Under his leadership, Q.ANT has generated significant interest in the industry with its groundbreaking photonic processor solutions, positioning the company at the forefront of sustainable AI and HPC innovation.
