About the Speaker
Michael Klug is an executive leader, technologist, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in optics, augmented reality, and 3D display systems. As Director of Hardware at Google and former CTO of Zebra Imaging, he has pioneered innovations in light field and holographic displays, holding over 55 U.S. patents. Michael has led international R&D and manufacturing teams, driven business development strategies, and successfully secured significant equity and grant funding. A graduate of MIT’s Media Lab, he is widely recognized for advancing AR/MR technologies and building ecosystems that bridge science, design, and commercialization.
