Complete Laser Systems for Quantum Technology Applications

Menlo Systems will introduce in this Technology Showcase the novel rack-mounted laser system FC1500-Quantum for precision control in quantum applications. This includes manipulation and control of cold atoms and ions, realizing clockworks in optical clocks with extreme stabilities, sensing applications based on quantum sensors, providing the laser engine for preparing and addressing qubits in quantum computing and quantum simulation.

The FC1500-Quantum is providing for the user multiple “perfect” outputs derived from integrated cw lasers stabilized to the system’s core consisting of the Optical Frequency Comb referenced to the ultrastable, 1 Hz linewidth laser.

Learn from the pioneers and leaders in the field. We are looking forward to see and work with you in this virtual event presented by Simon Kocur, Director of Menlo Systems Inc.

Speaker

Simon Kocur, Director of Sales & Service, Menlo Systems Inc.

Simon earned his Diploma in Microsystems Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg, Germany, and his Master of Science in Photonics at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. He joined Menlo Systems in April 2011 and since then gained a nearly decade of experience holding various positions, both at the headquarters in Germany and at our US office Menlo Systems Inc. In his first three-year stage, he was Engineer for THz-Timed Domain Spectrometers, followed by another three-year stage as International Sales Manager fs-Lasers. In 2017, at Menlo Inc., Simon started as US Western Regional Sales Manager and since January 2020 is US Director of Sales & Service.
