METAVISION – the 1st young Researchers’ Forum on Materials and Metastructures - is a newly established forum dedicated to early-career researchers, designed to foster collaboration, stimulate innovation, and support the next generation of scientists in nanophotonics, metasurfaces, and ultrafast phenomena. Over two intensive days, participants will benefit not only from cutting-edge scientific discussions, but can also take part of a dedicated work-life balance workshop for academia, creating space to reflect, recharge, and connect beyond the lab. The workshop will be hosted by the OPTICA ambassador Dr. Chiara Trovatello. METAVISION will be co-located with the 4th Colloquium on the Physics and Applications of Metasurfaces. This joint format creates a powerful platform that brings together world-leading experts with emerging talents, strengthening the scientific community across generations. The 4th Colloquium will feature invited talks by distinguished leaders in the field, covering: Fundamental principles of Metasurfaces, Design and fabrication techniques, Control of light properties, Holography and advanced imaging systems, Polarimeters and polarization-sensitive devices, Nonlinear optical interactions at the nanoscale, Quantum optical components and systems, Optical Computing, Structured light.
