Photonics Ireland is the premier event in Ireland bringing together PhD students, early career and established researchers as well as industry representatives working in photonics and semiconductor research. This conference presents the state-of-the-art research and challenges in these fields and provides a platform for scientific exchange and networking on a national, European and international level. The 2025 edition of Photonics Ireland is taking place in Cork, Ireland from 3rd to 5th September 2025 and is hosted by IPIC, the Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland, formerly Science Foundation Ireland Centre for photonics. The programme comprises of invited talks from academics as well as industry representatives, poster sessions, short talks by participants and networking sessions.
