About the Conference

The Optica Quantum 2.0 Conference and Exhibition, brings together over 400 individuals from academia, industry and government organizations to present the latest in quantum 2.0 research with four days of contributed and invited talks, poster sessions and networking opportunities. Quantum 2.0 refers to the development and use of quantum superposition and entanglement in large engineered systems. Examples of such large quantum systems include quantum computers and simulators, quantum communication networks and arrays of quantum sensors. New technologies will go far beyond the (quantum 1.0) capabilities offered by single systems.

Optica is proud to present the Optica Quantum 2.0 Conference and Exhibition alongside the Optica 2026 Quantum Industry Summit – Fifth Edition in June of 2026, bringing together titans of quantum industry innovation alongside the most brilliant academic minds in quantum 2.0 research and advancing technology. These two events will complement one another with a co-located exhibition, joining future-focused research with applications to stimulate and facilitate the development of quantum information science and find solutions for tomorrow’s technology.

The Optica Quantum Industry Summit is where leaders in photonics, quantum computing, communication, metrology and information technologies will gather to tackle the industry’s biggest challenges. This premier 2-day event and connect with quantum companies with key supply chain partners to advance collaboration and innovation across the sector.
