Optica Names Rosita Banks-Taylor the 2025 Optica Treasurer's Award Recipient
Optica is pleased to announce that Rosita Banks-Taylor, Optica, USA, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Treasurer's Award. Banks-Taylor is honored for exceptional support as a leader and collaborator across multiple departments and for data analytics expertise, which has had a significant impact organization-wide by streamlined processes, improved efficiency, and fostered collaboration.
Banks-Taylor is a dedicated professional from the Washington Metropolitan area who has spent over two decades at Optica, contributing to the organization's growth and success. Currently serving as the Director of Data Analysis & Account Management in Publishing, Rosita’s career began in 2000 in the Customer Service Department. Over the years, she has taken on various roles, eventually becoming the organization’s first Data Analyst.
Throughout her time at Optica, Rosita has created useful tools and reports that have helped colleagues across the organization navigate their day-to-day tasks. Known affectionately as the “Excel Guru,” she has developed automated reports, sales forms, dashboards, etc. that streamline workflows and drive efficiency to provide valuable insights to the team.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Rosita is deeply committed to giving back to her community. In her spare time, she serves on the board of a local charity that empowers women in transition, helping them pursue career advancement and professional development.
Established in 2016, the Optica Treasurer's Award honors the dedication, efficiency, innovation, and leadership demonstrated by the Optica staff. It is presented to a staff member who makes significant contributions to organizational excellence, promotes and enacts innovative solutions, or exemplifies inspirational leadership.
