About the Speaker
Anthony Torza is a Distinguished Hardware Engineer at Cisco. He works with the Cisco Silicon One and Cisco 8000 product lines to build the fastest, most flexible, highest reliability, lowest cost, lowest power web-scale compute networking and AI/ML cluster networking equipment in the world. Over the years, he has worked on many “advanced technology” things (like Cisco’s co-packaged optics system shown at OFC 2023) but long experience has taught him that unsexy, practical, thoughtful extensions of current technology based on understanding the physics of the situation are the things that sell.
