This meeting brings Optica's Imaging and Sensing congresses together to create a leading technical conference on emergins science and technology addressing a wide range of applications. The Optica ImageSense Congress aims to bring together an international group of leading engineers, scientists, junior researchers and graduate students—all engaged in optical methods to advance discovery and transfer of discovery to practice. The co-location of meetings covering these topics provides a unique opportunity to expand interaction with multidisciplinary groups that share related interests and goals.
The program comprises technical sessions featuring invited and contributed oral talks, panel discussions, poster sessions and postdeadline papers as well as ample networking opportunities and special events.
This joint congress addresses all aspects of image acquisition, processing and display, including:
- Computational and compressive imaging, imaging through scattering media, imaging through turbulence and the application of machine learning to image processing.
- Next-generation imaging methods, such as neuromorphic imaging, as well as applications of imaging technology in augmented and virtual reality systems.
- Imaging at THz and x-ray wavelengths, including the use of metasurfaces for real-world imaging applications.
- The latest developments in optical sensing and sensors as well as their use in a variety of applications.
- Hot topics being addressed, including agriphotonics, fiber-based sensing, quantum sensors, THz sensing, sensing solutions in manufacturing and the latest developments in comb spectroscopy, including fiber lasers and mid-IR sources.
