I am delighted to be able to pay tribute to my senior, Varsha Lohani, on the International Day of Women in Science. Varsha has always been a motivator and a great source of knowledge. Her work on protection and resilience in Optical Networks is an original contribution to this field. I have learned to be disciplined and sincere from her in all aspects of life. She is solely responsible for maintaining the lab's cheerful atmosphere. I feel honored to pay tribute to her.
