Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensors: Science and Technology
This webinar is hosted By: Optical Biosensors Technical Group
10 October 2018 10:30 - 11:30
Eastern Daylight/Summer Time (US & Canada) (UTC -04:00)
In this webinar organized by the OSA Optical Biosensors Technical Group, Dr. Ibrahim Abdulhalim of Ben Gurion University of the Negev will explain SPR sensors starting from the basic science. Next, the practical sensing schemes and signal reading based on extended SPR will be reviewed. Dr. Abdulhalim will then address key performance parameters such as sensitivity versus detection limit, effect of the penetration depth, methodology versus system issues and comparison between different methodologies.
At the conclusion of the webinar, future trends, potential applications and recent achievements will be presented. Among the growing trends that will be discussed during this portion of the webinar is miniaturization and integration with other technologies, with examples being provided during the discussion.
