Sai Kanth Dacha

Sai Kanth is a postdoctoral research scientist in Alexander Gaeta's research group at Columbia University. His research interests include nonlinear and quantum optics in optical fibers and integrated photonics. Prior to joining Columbia, Sai Kanth obtained his Ph.D. in Physics in 2022 at the University of Maryland, College Park. During his Ph.D., he worked at Nokia Bell Labs as a research intern. Sai Kanth is passionate about science communication and policy, and has served on Congressional delegations for Optica.
