Mariia Zhuldybina is a scientist, educator, and entrepreneur driven by curiosity and a passion for making advanced technologies accessible and impactful. Currently an assistant professor at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montréal, she leads research at the intersection of terahertz spectroscopy, printed electronics, and sustainable design.

Her journey into photonics began with a love of physical phenomena and evolved into a mission to bring lab discoveries to the production line. As the co-founder and CEO of TRAQC, Mariia helps manufacturers improve quality control using real-time, AI-powered terahertz systems.

Beyond the lab, Mariia is dedicated to mentoring students, promoting women in STEM, and building bridges between academia and entrepreneurship. Whether she’s organizing a hands-on workshop for young girls, designing new teaching tools, or supporting student-led startups, Mariia believes that small acts of support can spark lasting change.
