Join us for the Optica Online Industry Meeting on the Global Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (GAMA), an initiative unifying the supply chain of advanced manufacturing methods such as nanoimprint lithography, ultrafast laser processing, additive manufacturing, and direct laser writing. This session will highlight progress and next steps for GAMA, featuring end-user perspectives on critical needs and insights from member companies, with a focus on building stronger, more resilient supply chains for novel photonics products.

Laura Horan
Vanguard Automation, Head of Product Management
Laura Horan is responsible for leading Product Management at Vanguard Automation GmbH (a Mycronic company), based in Karlsruhe, Germany. With over a decade of professional experience in the UK and in Germany, she has a proven track record in developing innovative optical sensors and metrology solutions for the medical, automotive, and manufacturing industries. Laura received her PhD in physics from University College Cork, awarded for her work investigating the applications of Hollow Core Photonic Crystal Fibers at the Tyndall National Institute in Ireland, for which she was granted an IRCSET scholarship. She has authored several scientific papers and holds patents in optical sensors and metrology.
Philipp Dietrich
Keystone Photonics, CEO
Philipp Dietrich is a co-founder and CEO of Keystone Photonics, a company based in Karlsruhe, Germany that offers products and services for test and measurement using additive microfabrication. He is also a co-founder of Vanguard Automation, a company providing industry grade machines and processes for photonic integration. Philipp Dietrich received his PhD from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology for his work in fabrication and application of functional microstructures.
